General Dentistry

At the dental office of Dr. David Littlefield, we love to restore and enhance gorgeous smiles. However, we are also huge proponents of preventive care in order to prevent potential problems from having the opportunity to develop. When regular exams and cleanings are skipped, small issues are left undiagnosed and untreated. These are the issues that eventually become large, painful, and expensive. It is our passion to diligently discover the small issues before they can develop into large issues. This allows us to offer more conservative treatments. These are less intrusive, less painful, and far easier on the budget. This also allows us the opportunity to preserve your original teeth.

Of course, you can help yourself much in the way of preventative care by being devoted to thorough, daily oral hygiene. Regular brushing, flossing, and rinsing will be the greatest single thing you can do to avoid painful, expensive treatments. Along with excellent oral hygiene, be faithful to your six-month exams, checkups, and cleanings. Sometimes patients will skip that checkup because they are not experiencing any pain, and they feel that they have no dental issues to be concerned about. However, during these checkups we are able to spot any early signs of decay, damage, or gum disease. We also will do a regular check for oral cancer. Oral cancer caught in its early stages is very treatable. If oral cancer is not diagnosed until the late stages, it can often be deadly. In every one of these situations, early detection leaves many options open for treatment and preservation of oral health.

We are passionate about providing safe, effective, and preventative dental care for each member of your family. Our offices are equipped with the latest technology, and our staff is equipped with the latest in training. Each staff member is friendly and professional. It is our great pleasure to provide excellent oral care for you and your family at a price that fits within your budget.
